Carter Trucking Inc.'s rider policy allows you to take a rider
for a specified period of time and you are eligible for this policy
after your 90 day probation period. Request and fill out a
simple form and we will activate your rider policy.

Trucking Inc. offers all Company Drivers the ability to
participate in a comprehensive and affordable medical, dental, life
and prescription insurance plan. A 401(k) participation is offered
after 6 months of employment.

What if my driving record isn't perfect?

Trucking Inc. reviews all Motor Vehicle Records for each driver
applicant. You will be approved before you are scheduled for
orientation.

What if I have a DUI or DWI on my record?

Trucking Inc. has a strict zero-tolerance policy
for any controlled substance and/or alcohol offense. We will
not hire anyone with any type of drug and/or alcohol
conviction obtained within the last five years.
Q.
What kind of experience does R.L. Carter Trucking require?
A. We require a minimum
of 3 years tractor/trailer experience. It is a plus if you
have any dry or liquid tanker experience but it is not a requirement
we do offer training with both types of equipment.
Q. What type of endorsements
does R.L. Carter Trucking require?
A. This will depend on
the division placement you want. We have three division and the
endorsement requirements change with each. Our dry van division will require
a Hazmat endorsement and the liquid division will require both
tanker and a Hazmat endorsement.
Q. Is R.L. Carter Trucking
Inc. an OTR or regional carrier?
A. R.L. Carter Trucking Inc.
has a 48 state transport authority and we offer both types of
positions. We have OTR, regional, and if you live in the area around
our corporate office we can offer home daily positions.
All
